Yay! Me posing with Remmy, my mother's new Quarter Horse! She is 5 years old and such a cutie! Very playful! :) Saturday was my mom's birthday, so my sister and I went to visit her! Here is a cake her fiance ordered secretly at a French bakery in downtown Martinez. This was an amazing cake! There was a thin layer of raspberry jam stuff, almond cream, custard, and then the cake part itself was very fluffy and sweet! I especially loved the Almond cream! Yum! Hahahaha, this is the cake my sis and I brought her since we didn't know that Ian had gotten her a cake as a surprise. It's the vanilla bourbon cake mix from Trader Joe's with homemade Chocolate icing and sprinkles. I personally really like it; it's light and tasty! We didn't have time to make a cake by scratch, but this turned out well anyway. Tomorrow is the first day of summer for my little sister, who just finished her sophomore year of high school!
