YAY! On Thursday Febuary 4, 2010, it had been one year since Andrew and I started dating! We have grown so much together and can't imgaine being without each other! I feel like my life has changed for the better and through him I have been introduced to so many wonderful foods, bands, and fun things! Andrew is my true love, my other half, my best friend, and my partner in life. :) Sadly, Thursday was a busy day for both of us. I had classes all day, and he worked all morning and had class all afternoon. He came to my room around 4:30ish and we hung out the rest of the night at his house just relaxing. We gave each other gifts and had a blast opening them! He gave me a lovely eternity ring with gold and cubic zirconias! We pledged our committment to each other. :D On Friday, I woke up feeling more rested and better than I had during the week, and he only had a short morning class, so we were together all day! Yay! No one is home right now except for me and Scooter, who is scuttling around being curious as usual. I am sitting on my bed, typing away and thinking about how awesome my weekend was and that I love Andrew so much! I am so happy because he came over on Friday to stay over to celebrate our 6 month anniversary a little early since he has class on Tuesday. It was so fun and relaxing!! But, it went by too quickly. After we got home from dropping him off last night I walked into my room and was so sad by the fact that he wasn't there. I miss him so much! I just have to keep in mind that I will be back at college in 2 and a half weeks! I need to stay strong! Andrew has become such a part of my life now; it's hard when he is leaves to go back home because I feel like a part of me leaves too. Friday and Saturday were the best days of my life so far. Andrew came over to my place to spend the night and celebrate our 5 month anniversary! We hadn't seen each other in 3 weeks because he was busy, and it was so special to be with him again. :) It was truly wonderful! I am so full of love for him! On Friday afternoon we went downtown to get promise rings! We tried on quite a few, and luckily we found these, which are perfect! They look nice, they suit us, and they fit perfectly! They have a lovely swirly pattern that reminds me of roots, which is meaningful to us. :) I love my ring so much! It makes me feel so good and loved! After we first picked Andrew up from the Amtrak station Friday morning, we stopped by a little roadside farm stand to pick up some fresh veggies. Yay! Me posing with Remmy, my mother's new Quarter Horse! She is 5 years old and such a cutie! Very playful! :) Saturday was my mom's birthday, so my sister and I went to visit her! Here is a cake her fiance ordered secretly at a French bakery in downtown Martinez. This was an amazing cake! There was a thin layer of raspberry jam stuff, almond cream, custard, and then the cake part itself was very fluffy and sweet! I especially loved the Almond cream! Yum! Hahahaha, this is the cake my sis and I brought her since we didn't know that Ian had gotten her a cake as a surprise. It's the vanilla bourbon cake mix from Trader Joe's with homemade Chocolate icing and sprinkles. I personally really like it; it's light and tasty! We didn't have time to make a cake by scratch, but this turned out well anyway. Tomorrow is the first day of summer for my little sister, who just finished her sophomore year of high school! Uwahhhh~~ I am still basking in the awesomeness that was yesterday. My love came to visit me by train and we spent the whole day together in my neck of the woods. It was our 4 month anniversary and it was really wonderful. I was able to show him how I live here, and we played guitar and sang for each other, which was very special. I performed some songs I had learned for the first time for him and I got all shy! When he went back on the train, it was very hard for me; I miss him so much. Luckily, I should be able to see him on Saturday since we are performing at a cafe in SF with some friends. I hope that works out!
